I went on a bit of a jolly recently, so I thought I’d make a nice multimodal transport treble header for you to solve.
I have to be careful, because I know that Mr Wolf is lurking and he doesn’t need much in the way of clues.
The first part of the journey took me by road to a UK port to catch a ferry, then I went (by road) to a place where the road ends rather abruptly cos it’s gradually falling down the cliffs.
The present road ends at a sheer drop and there are bits of people’s houses visible in the general debris.
Standing just past the fence where the road suddenly ends, this is what you can see…
#1.)
Where was I?? (The name of the town please.)

Next, I went by train and arrived at this station.
#2.)
Where was I?? (The name of the station please.)

Having had a nice day out, I had to return to where I was staying.
Here’s me sailing into the sunset, but heading into a UK port.
#3.)
Where was I?? (The name of the port just about where the sun is setting please.)

I’ve tallied-up your score Malc, but I’m afraid you’ve scored 0/3.
As a consolation and a bit of a clue, two of them are fairly close to the mark.
Hurry up Malc, cos Mr Wolf will be along soon!!

Hi Malc, That’s a bit better now cos you’ve now hit 1/3, because the station IS Haven Street.
Here’s the original pic before the little oiks with the spray cans covered the station name boards

Then for my second correct answer I will submit Sarfhampton
I have been checking the Isle of Wight ferry links because we are running a TRSC sidecar speedway round on the 19th August

Hi Malc, Yes mate, correct again!!
Here’s the Red Funnel ferry I took that goes from Southampton to East Cowes

And my last guess will be just that, a guess at Shanklin. I still haven’t discovered how Wolfie gets them so close so quick, unless he taps into your pc through his helpdesk training

Sorry Malc, it’s not Shanklin.
Your other guess at the beach location wasn’t all that far out though.
But 2/3 isn’t all that bad.

Last try, Freshwater Bay.
But the place looks gorgeous all over, need to get my sea legs back and go for a flit round the island on a yacht.

And yes Malc, the I-o-W is a very nice place indeed.
Mr Wolf hasn’t been lurking actually, hes been out biking again.
Anyway you just happen to have picked the only part of the British Isles I’ve never been to, the IoW. However I suspect you are at the end of The Terrace in the village of Chale.

Exactly correct Mr Wolf.
I knew you’re good at this, but that’s why I took the pic after the fence at the very end of The Terrace.
I doff my cap in your direction Sir!!
walks away muttering …
My next one won’t be so easy.
