Diesel thefts around newark

For some reason I couldn’t copy the text, but I dont think you’ll need an account to read this.

In a nutshell, old bill have been using decoy trucks parked in laybys to catch the diesel fairies. I did however get the impression that they were more concerned about the farmers crops than the drivers welfare!!

Well done to the police for what they are doing, is this just a knee jerk reaction, or will the continue this for a long time, me thinks 3 months, then it will disappear…

The diesel fairies have been operating around there for years, so it needs to be an ongoing thing.

Nah I can’t read the link either.
But about ■■■■ time, I don’t hear myself saying this too often…(well at all really), but good on the Police, for actively trying to catch these pond life scum, let’s hope it’s gonna be a nationwide trend, and the bastds are at last deterred from it.

Would almost agree with you robroy, but read below and see if you come to the same conclusion as me.

This wasn’t done for the truckers benefit. I reckon if these clowns hadnt been trashing farmland, the police wouldn’t have intervened.

Oh well, I guess motives arent important. The end result is.

Aye maybe you’re right, but I suppose the end justifies the means,.and it’s sending a message out to the rest of the scrotes.

It’s the mathematical locksmiths that are doing it. The laybys are adjacent to rural back roads, separated by a field. The mathematical locksmiths park their Transit tippers on the rural road then deploy the quad bike to drag the pipe across the farmer’s field and over the fence to the layby where the trucks are. They’ve been at it for years all along the A1 in S Yorks and Notts. Vehicles found to be on cloned plates, in possession of weapons and one of them is called Connor… :bulb:

Maybe the farmers are in the same ‘Lodge’ as the Chief Super. :bulb:
