Diesel Over The Silk Road .. new book

I have on my desk the new book from Top Run Ferdy… Diesel Over The Silk Road… it was done as part of his trip from Swiss to Bandar Abbas in Iran in 2014 with 2 Scania 141’s

Fantastic !!!

In English but not many words… High gloss… photo quality fantastic… all lot of his trucks in location as the main photo with a historic truck photo from his web site beside it…

Limited to 99 copies a little bit expensive but well worth it…

I spoke to him a while back and there is probably going to be a dvd as well, which will be in English…

Jeff…

Hello was wondering where to purchase the book and how much it costs? I think I read an article recently about this journey in either trucking or truck and driver magazine. Thanks Mark

You can only get it from Ferdy via his web site top run trucks ch… There are also loads of photos of the trip on there as well… but the best ones were kept for the book…

Jeff…

Here’s a photo of me with my copy…it’s in English…

Jeff…

I canny see you Jeff!!!1. Eddie.

You really don’t want to Eddie… It’s not pretty…

I probably shouldn’t have posted that photo… I don’t have my Hi Viz on…some thing might fall out the sky and hit me… or I a rabbit might run into me.

Jeff…

Besides the book, that’s a smart cab over alongside you Jeff.

Hullo v8crazy,
I spoke to Ferdy last week about the price. It is £80.00.

Yes… but well worth it… remember it is genuine limited edition…

Jeff…

Hi Jeff I see you have your “High Viz T Shirt” though !!

£80 for a book?!
I’d want someone to read it to me for that much

Yes I was a bit surprised at that price. My OAP is only £474.50 per month. If I bought that I’d only have £98.50 a week to live on for that month. I definately think I will have to give that a miss.

Ferdy’s audience is shrinking, so the price reflects this. Good luck feller- most of your"market" remember the trip in a different and challenging way.
Yours is a bus ride. Jim
