The Job Overview
We are looking for experienced HGV as well as Category B drivers for our Intercity Removals business. Experienced in UK and International removals we provide a professional and friendly removal service. We offer our clients a full packing, loading, unpacking and storage service. We pride ourselves on our customer service and monitor all feedback. Please note,our drivers have a self-employed status
The right candidate will be proactive and flexible, adapt to last minute changes and be a team player.
Experience within the removals industry is preferred but training will be given to the right candidate.
What You’ll be Doing
The role will include, but limited to Driving, Loading/Unloading, and other associated duties within the removals industry.The ideal candidate will need to be fit and able to work our way, with a friendly customer focused attitude being a high priority.You may also be required to dismantle and reassemble furniture.
What we’re looking for
A full clean UK Driving LicenceIdeally, previous experience with driving 3 tonne Van and logistical coordinationA positive and flexible attitude as well as a team playerThe ability to work long hours when required due to the nature of the industryThe ability to work under pressure and to solve problems in a calm logical manner.Punctuality, presentable with good communication skillsProfessional and smart of appearanceFriendly, honest and reliableFlexible with working hours – we operate a service 7 days a week and some International travel may be required.Drivers must have the relevant CPC qualification.
