BuzzardBoy:
No I didn’t, I was a regular there over the years but I’ve never seen one of them before!!
Ross.
Still got mine, in daily use.
BuzzardBoy:
I ahd one for years, i never went there but one of my drivers must have given me it. We had some publicity stuff done , pens and lighters in the shape of a truck with wheels, very popular they were i wonder if any still exist.

what did you have to do to get one.
I was a regular in there for many years but it was just a case of being there
at the right time when they were being handed out.
Victors was just one of quite a few cafes/bars/restaurants that used to give away freebies.

I also remember many establishments that didn’t give you anything for free!!!
Ross.

Fond memory’s of Victor’s … I used to love the potato soup …Then on to Freds in Madrid …anybody remember the bloke behind the counter .He was so camp .
hi sill got it in the loft safe
Hi: Still got mine along with the one from St Genis. sill got a couple of your plastic mugs Buzzer…
I remember having one of those Victors key rings but I’ve no idea what happened to it.
This is my last remaining thing from Buzzer despite having t shirts, pens, a Volvo jacket and other stuff I’m sure.
The one thing I should have asked for was the passport/fuel card wallet. Still got any knocking around John?.
Cheers

Hi here’s mine, cant get to the Davies wallet yet my wife keeps the passports in it and she ain’t home at the moment
I think Germany was the best place for free gifts, especially at this time of year. I was given a leather wallet / document bag that is still in use. I had a leather man-bag from France, towels, wine, tools, clothing. All decent stuff. I used to get nice cakes from Italy.
havn’t got the victors keyring. anyone stopped there recently? prob 2 years back since i’ve been, and it was looking abit shabby.
i remember stopping for fuel in various garages in the late 90’s in spain, and one bloke would fill the tanks, sometimes another would wash the screens, and when you payed, you’d get a few goodies. sweets, box of cigars maybe, and the odd bottle of vino.
