Used to drive for John Jones Excavations in Stockport Cheshire,used to take those 463 boxes with a ballasted ERF,I remember the wire ropes used to chaff,which allowed the box blade to drop onto the tarmac,you had to scotch the wheels and drag the wire rope along the road until you had lifted the blade up enough to clip it to hold it in place,then you were off again!..happy days they were!
