Diary, runcorn to slovakia

sorry dave my spelling again!..the towns called leuna, its south west of leipzig. huge plant with different companies within it. the wash is in the plant then i loaded at dow chemicals.
nianiamh was up last week at bodelwyddan (tuesday night) left there at 7 pm so if you where out and about then that was me…lol

Well done Pete,nice to read something different.I reckon you are away from home for long period’s? What do you carry in the tank,seem’s hungary is a bit far for regular stuff.

hiya mate, yep roznava. thats the name of the place. 5 euros to park up there the night. the place were i loaded was called tiszaujvaros, southeast of miskolc. the road was the 67 from poprad to roznava. glad you enjoyed it…pete

I used to load PVC granules from TVK in a tilt when I pulled for Kuene and Nagel in Budapest

In the days of a former communist regime. Tiszaujvaros was more popularly known as Leninvaros. Suddenly it became unpopular in the 80’s :laughing:

There was also a town named after Stalin which became Dunauvaros.

my laptop was playing up, was gonna say great stuff, more diaries please, slovakia is one country i have not been to yet
