diabetis

went to my doctor today as all my tonque has cracked open, very sore, her first question was are you a diabetic [im not] , but on my medical i had a high sugar level so had to do a fasting blood test ,which came back from the hospital o.k,she now wants me to do this test again.
but im not keen as im thinking if it comes back i am diabetic ive got all the worry of what level, can i drive etc
so does anyone know why is a cracked tonque associated with diabetis .
ill admit i dont eat properly, 1 a.m starts etc, so i often go all day 12/13/15 hrs without eating ,or just grab a burger, just a bottle of water to drink, could this be why all of a sudden they seem to be throwing diabetis at me every time i go to the doctors.
she said shed like me to take the test again, not i had to, so if i just dont bother ,would there be a problem
ta

Not until your toes drop off & you go blind

@ ady1 ;Please take a tip off some one who is still sat at home
since AUG 2008 The time before I was off work for over TWO(2)
years the last time, because i never went to see a Doc regularly
Get back to the doctor -specialist and let
them take you apart and check you over 100% , if they find
a problem it can be dealt with if you have not left it Too late
The majority of drivers are their worst enemies
as a visit to a doctor is so good as never unless nothing
else goes,
