im with coffeeholic all the way on this threadi took a fl10 to morroco twice. and i was paid Ā£100.00 more than the glory boys in their f10 globetrotters. for me money first. creature comforts 2nd.
same here,i mean why do they need big trucks is it to compensate for their small ā ā ā ā ā or do they have a quick game of tennis before they retire to their bunks i used to do 4/5 nights out a week for 2 yrs in an old s reg daf low cab not the plush cf dafs i think alot of it is down to snobbery ,my trucks bigger than yours and i can look down my nose at you 
you drive it during the day go have a shower,tea,watch a bit of tv then bed and same again so how is a bigger cab better you cant do anymore in it
I guess Iām just lucky in my job, I was given the choice of a new Scania or an 05 Volvo fH. I went for the Volvo 
i had to fight to get a 1990 volvo fl10 (last year!)
then i had to REALLY bloody fight to get a 99 actros after that
ive no fight left in me should a better truck come along!
