Yes, me!

The very first time I went to our depot at Hams Hall I pulled into Trade Team’s gate by mistake.

I don’t suppose that was the kind of experience you were looking for though. :stuck_out_tongue:

You may be one of the lucky one’s and end up doing some of the festival work in the summer

I’ve heard that they are looking for class 1 drivers so if anyone’s interested have a look on their website

I see these trucks (Volvo FH’s) in yellow quite often in my travels - looks like good kit and DHL is one hell of a big company. Could be good for someone on here?

Hams Hall Coleshill
no where near Birmingham

Unless its changed in the last six weeks, there no FHs based there, its all class 1 mini-artic drays. TT Primary are based @ Burton, thats the FH depot…Its a good job, with excellent kit, although this is lost on quite a few of the employed drivers

I’ve delivered in there a lot. They seem ok and the drivers seem fairly cheerful (may be the beer fumes:))

Typical big company rules and regulations though.

I agree, they are decent people in there, pleasant and cheerful, it could be the ale ■■?

The H+S is strict, but its done in a friendly way, none of this “your an alien”, so I`ll talk to you, like your from Mars crap :open_mouth:

They have had an influx of work, due to re-organision elsewhere in the depot network IIRC.

heard that they were going to lay the dray lads off from burton. so thats where they will be delivering from.as stanley says all the big fh’s are based at the brewery and hams hall is a on trade depot. deliver in to there quite a bit and the lads seem happy with there lot. heavy work but it gets you out the house

Yes I follow them around Birmingham when I’m doing our pubs there. Money is about average, somewhere in the 24k region, its barrels as you would expect, all double manned. Mostly little Dray artics but some small 12t rigids too. The newer kit looks good, man TGL/M and the like. The old stuff is the old Volvo FL-220 like we used to have and they are nasty. Most of the time you do two runs a day, normally finished by about 2pm. The drivers all seem quite happy, they seem more content than the Khuene Nagel drivers on the drays in the area anyway. DHL being what it is, dot all t’s cross all i’s and they’re happy.

my experiance with trade team is that, good happy people, good payers, good h+s, nice vehicles with a couple of punishment bangers to keep you on your toes, but if you balls up the management are quick to sack and get someone else in
