Anyone any info on work here? Been offered some shifts on days, told its curtainsiders into RDC’s, was more wondering how many drops a day they put on you and the shift lengths. Tried to search forums but only seem to find stuff on Whitwood truck stop!
If it’s the place opposite TK Max, i did a couple of weeks there about 5 years ago. Place was a shambles, they expected their pound of flesh and got shirty if things didn’t go to plan such as they’d allow an hour at an RDC. When it took over 3 they’d have a right moan.
I jacked after I was on my 6th shift of my second week. It was snowing heavily in Oxfordshire and they’d snuck a back haul in at Kraft foods at Didcot onto what was a straight tip at Didcot.
After my first 4 and a half I was still at Brackley. When I rang to say I wasn’t going to make it back things got a bit heated. I ended up just turning round and coming back, ignoring the phone for 3 hours and dumping the lorry in their yard. Never went back.
Make of that what you will.
If it is the one opposite tx max I did a shift for them a few year ago on agency…9am start tip Dunstable reload Bicester back to whitwood.
That was a tight run as it was a Friday but I wasn’t bothered on the phone once.
All looked a bit regimental to me though and got the feeling all this doing stuff the right way went out of the window when the going got tough.
iirc the food in the canteen at Kraft Bicester is good
