Currently working for DHL on the Baxter contract out of Northampton. Well DHL have lost the contract and CEVA are coming in, in Nov. Anybody know what CEVA are like to work for? Everyone ive spoken to hasn’t got a clue. Cheers
Another contract lost by DHL to Ceva lol 
Ceva couldn’t organise a zb up in a brewery. It’s probably payback for losing the NHS contract to DHL when they were TNT Logistics years ago[emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]
Perhaps they got it because they can organize another race to the bottom by going in cheaper
Good riddance to DHL. Long may it continue.
Ceva is monthly pay
Where I work is DHL it was Ceva long ago, the boys who worked here for Ceva says the place went down the tube when DHL took over. That’s all I know 
They used to run Tesco Direct at Crewe (think it’s still vacant) drivers were 100% agency, every single CEVA driver was on the sick with stress.
Replacing one lot of chumps who couldn’t run a ■■■■ up in a brewery with another bunch, the real question will be who of the two can spend (waste) the clients money faster.
From a workers point of view, i understand DHL’s pension is supposed to be good…weren’t they all at one time?, maybe for current retirees yes but whether that will still apply when you, the driver enquiring comes to retire is another question entirely, that’s maybe something that could make a difference if you’ve got a good crystal ball.

Ceva love agency drivers, they’d much rather have them than full timers…!

Ceva love using the agency driver because they only prepared to pay £10.10 ph for a class one driver who is ltd or paye £9.10 it’s all controlled by etips (depoel rates)
Contracts are just a 3 or 5 year merry go round DHL - Wincanton- CEVA -Stobarts etc etc they all cut each others throats at the expense of the Driver

Working for my agency for Ceva in Hull its over £10/hr for PAYE, over £13 for Ltd.

Seems an odd thing to do.
Well dhl won most of the BMW contract from ceva just up the road so I guess its swings and roundabouts and having worked for ceva for a good few years in my time they def don’t prefer agency drivers
Ceva .yes .the nightshift do the drivers .good manijment jobs .I lost an arm nearly on this as NHS won’t help on the reload as they can only lift 1 kg .so they get logistics to wipe it .then reload cages against best practice if u wana job same as everywhere just about .I worked with the Germans today .top dollar health n safety no management bonus or executive pension boat .it can be done Britain …watch n LEARN
If its all agency it doesn’t meet hns or employment regs.usually .its against the law now to tell an employee to break hns .so they all like Ltd or agency
They all seem to get destroyed by management bonus subversion or the tax man .
They are all ■■■■,they go in ■■■■■ profits win the contract the first place that suffers is Labour ie us then one guy at the top gets the bonus made from cutting the wage bill.Its pure genius how it works and we say yes everytime.

Worked for CEVA for a couple of years out of Manchester on the NewsFast contract amongst others - good place to work, people were ok but the pay wasn’t up to much.
