DHL-Exel Merge

Can anyone advise, do DHL-Excel Global have a new livery yet and if so whats it look like (Pics if any ?) Ta

not seen anything yet, i suspect going bythe number of vehicles involved it will consist of yellow stickers on the cab doors in the interim

A lot of Exel vehicles run round in their contract liveries anwyay.

Long term it will just be the standard DHL yellow with the red band under the DHL name having “Exel supply chain” or some such under it.

exel.com/exel/home

the website is just the Exel one with yellow bits added.

As for uniforms, it will just be the standard DHL issue Yellow, Red and blue.

Cheers for that Dennisw, I do truck models and wanted to know so that I could get one done in the new Livery if it existed. I’ve already done a couple of DHL and Exel models which you can view in my ‘gallery’ at www.fotothing.com/ramjet . Toward the end of the Gallery theirs loads of old AA Photo’s if anyones interested !.

Thanks for that link Bossjock. Just flicked thruogh your photos. Good collection of AA photos there. I’ll be going back for a longer look later.

I will agree with Denis though. DHL aren’t going to give up their yellow livery.

The only link may be a slightly different wording under the main logo.

DHL Danzas staff in Birmingham got new sweatshirts/polo shirts and fleeces just before christmas. The logo read DHL Danzas Air & Ocean. Come the new year the company name was changed to DHL Global Forwarding. Out of date already!

They’re currently rolling out a new uniform anyway.

Had a major redesign on the garments, still basicaly the same colours but more red on the bits that show the dirt etc.

You’ll see plenty of DHL units pulling Exel trailers and vice versa, just like there are plenty of Securicor Omega blue trailers about still. (albeit with the graphics pealed off)

Although as i said many of the Exel vehicle are run in contract liveries anyway, ie. Tesco, with exel on the Cab doors.

Talking to a friend of mine who works for dhl ( i work on an exel contract ) and from what he was saying theyre was a picture in the dhl despatches company magazine of a dhl unit pulling an exel trailer with just married across the back doors … :unamused:

If you look at Bossjocks models he has a model of just such a scene

Thats the new logo for the time being. We have posters on our T/office wall with the “Just Married” logo on them.
