I don’t no if this is the correct area or not. But hear goes.

Within the family through the years we have had a numerous transport companies:
Derry Bros, (Jim and paddy Derry, general haulage on of Northern Ireland’s larger hauliers at one time)

Derry Refrigerated Transport, (operated by Patrick Derry, whom is Paddy Derry’s Son, currently run a fleet of around 15 trucks, mainly topline, with 1 super space and 1 fm)

Derry’s Ltd, (furniture company with around 10 trucks mainly magnums, servicing Ireland, u,k and Europe)

DerryMorgan, (red by Brigit Derry daughter of Jim Derry, and Marcus Morgan (son of the red Morgan’s, Morgan mc clearn). operate around 15 trucks mainly r series)

Derry Farms, (livestock transport operated by Jim Derry)

M Derry Transport, (Malacky Derry Jr, Ran Actros’s)

J Derry Transport, (John Derry, Has a topline is now transport manager with Hughes)

G Derry Transport, (Gerard Derry, now operates Derry’s Ltd, had fleet of mercs and acks)

Sealand Marine Transport, (operated from Liverpool, run owned by Andrew Rosthorn and Jim Derry, mainly transporting high end luxury yachts)

Fast Removals (Gerard Derry, removals before moving into contract furniture)
The list goes on,
so you could say it is in the blood, have a few photos to throw up, have many more tho, the scanner playing up so when get her sorted I get the rest up.

Very nice pics mate, ive seen the red R series with the cattle float a few times lately, im sure i spotted it in or near Italy the other week.

which Red morgan ? did they have 143s in the 80s mostly red and white some orange and white, did mushrooms to Liverpool Fruit Market, similar livery to McGeown (Red) like the ones shown on their website on the back of the low loader:

to bossjack, that was the hotel for truckfest, tho not much sleep done i took the 110 scania over on it, not the fancyest of trucks but goes like stink

to andy rich, yeh thay was my first corrollla (the one to the left, have had a blue and a red over black scence, fun cars :wink:

armaghcoupe what about the mitsubishi that derry ran? kind of remember a magazine article on it years ago.

there was a mitsibushi is correct trucking international done an artcle on it they went out with the driver for a trip. was talking to a guy how drives for mds steel said he was doing get me a copy of it as he has it lying around
