Derby cattle market lorry park is now closed for parking. They could have given some warning as to when it was going to close well done derby city council not

It was on the telly a bit ago that the council were closing the cattle market and selling off the whole site.

Must have made poor old Charlie Hollis turn in his grave!

Yes used to park there but when they shut it end of June it was only shut for one night and they opened it again

No mate, our very inept council made their decision without too much thought as usual, they have left all the business`s based on there up a creek without any form of traction…

The ■■■■■ situation was supposed to be under control, as my nephew was on the security. I got the inside knowledge on the council`s mind set, apparently if Seamus and his posse ever turned up, they were to be allowed on site, as the council were fearful of any “racism” being claimed :open_mouth: :unamused: :cry:

You know the new Velodrome can`t have live music as the acoustics are too poor, our great leaders sold the idea to the gullible tax payers on the proviso that it would pay for itself via concerts ect. :blush:

The velodrome was a good idea in principle but it was built on the cheap and with a few backhanders throw in in for good measure. I hate going into the city centre at the best of times. The place is a joke. Unless you like charity shops, pound shops or gang s of yoofs haha
Anywhere near the 52 gets gridlocked for fun and parking at the hospital is horrendous

Same here, if they charge for parking, then I`m going to go elsewhere, when will they wake up and stop strangling the life out of the city ■■?

Itsnt the A52 due to be widened going into the city ?........same ■■■■, different day with our council, the actual problem is the magic roundabout [Pentagon], thats the problem, but what do I know :cry:
