I am always in a quandary when it comes to very high winds combined with going over bridges.
Get yer foot down and get over quickly or go slowly so if I do turn over it won’t hurt as much [emoji848]

this is why it pays to have your limiter off or generously set on days like that.
flat to the mat, then catch up with a plobber, tag alongside, and double up on him over the bridges or at the bits you will be wild like thelwall,or around shap/m62 ect.

D.D. that’s how it was done in the old days when they were called gales not storms, get alongside someone heavy, that’s how the old bill sent you over the 7 bridge or similar like a car transporter.

Gales and Storms are different.
Gales: …34 to 40 knots / 39 to 46mph
Strong Gale:…41 to 47 knots / 47 to 54mph
Storm:…48 to 55 knots / 55 to 63mph
Then a Violent Storm, and
Hurricanes start at 64 knots or 73mph.

its only the east coast iron hoofs,or teuchters that might refer to it like that tho personally ive never heard it.

I thought this was a memed-up pic - until I saw exactly the same on TV, no comments about gently stroking the brecon fuzznuts there to be sure… :stuck_out_tongue:

It is a shame that we cannot see a moving vid of it, copoutright not withstanding…

i reckon the dude thats responsible for the graphics/map thing ie either getting paid off,was paid off and this is his last week,or,he just has a reason to detest the ■■■■■.
all thats missing is a few spurts /pockets of rain from colwyn bay across to the isle of man and we would have the full pudding.

Any one else on here looked at the Kintire Peninsula and the Island of Arran?
