Well, its that time of year again. The Christmas trees are calling and it looks like I will be heading over the water again to Denmark to run the trees from the forests to the dock. Last year we based ourselves at Padborg services on the Danish / German border, and ran the trees down to the hook for shipping. This year the powers have seen sense, and we are shipping from Esbjerg. Now the question is, does anyone know of a good service area in the centre of Denmark where we can base ourselves this year? Good food, showers and laundry, and DKV friendly diesel ?
Have you had a look in the Euro Drivers Info Point yet?
Send a PM to Biggles,he drives for a Danish firm and should be able to steer you in the right direction.
Define the centre of Denmark… if its Jutland and you are heading north there is a transport centre just north of Vejle, not sure about the food, depends how much Danish food appeals, also at Vejle north exit there is a large Bilka supermarket were you can park and do a spot of shopping.
