Hey it all depends on where you end up parking Belgium has some very dodgy characters that frequent many of the motorway service areas and deserted laybys,IE I’ve never seen someone walking around a truck whilst jacking themselves off over in here in the uk, But i have had that unfortunate event happen over in belgie, theres definitely something not right with some of the belgies that is for sure, And ive heard the rumour (Poss MTM) that it’s not only the cab that they want to enter using brute force 
But some sort of alarm system on the doors windows is all that is really needed, as it would wake a sleeping driver (well most of us) and act as a deterrent to the would be burglar
