If someone is daft enough to not know that a cab levelling valve is what it is and how it works and then gives out incorrect paperwork that is his problem, and you should appeal against the PG9, don’t judge all by others actions.
Hi wheeltapper,
That’s a fair point mate, but would the issue of the PG9 still be recorded and visible to the TC at ‘O’ licence review please?
If an appeal against a PG9 is successful, is the wrongly issued PG9 wiped from the record?
As for the rest of your pics, those faults are absolutely shocking and I’m glad you caught them.

i wasn’t judging all by the actions of one, i was only stating a point as to what happened recently.
as for appealing against the decision, too much hassle, just took the vehicle to the local VOSA MoT centre and had it lifted, the opinion of the examiner who checked it over was not repeatable on here, the auto censor would catch most of it
oh, and the ABS fault that Globby 480 is referring to, according to the diagnostics computer, it is actually an ASR fault, not ABS (so i have been reliably informed
)
some great pics there too wheeltapper, it is shocking what is actually still out on the road when it clearly should not be

A self test on the vehicle also found that not all the solenoids were activating and previous repair attemps had been made without to much success.

Some very shocking pictures! Great thread though.
