Did you help him out, possible suzie issue. Yes vor if all them ain’t working and no quick fix available. Although the missing light cluster may or may not be connected to the trailer issue. Just guessing.
No numberplate can be solved by taking plate off unit I think.

The whole rig should be VOR
Tractor unit because of missing cluster instant test failure
Trailer non working lights as above
just on those 2 faults will be 6 points
Blow out could have taken the units light cluster out on route. Suzzie issue if he’s not pull the the trailer bar out then it could have just disconnected it’s self

Think it was the Hanky Panky, never got the hat trick though as she sobered up or I tried to vor her back doors, can’t quite remember which.
I don’t know if he’d be too happy if he saw you walking around inspecting and photographing his motor mate,

You say he was a young kid having difficulty backing on, maybe a nervous newbie just had his licence for a day 
If it was me, I would have got out and offered help to guide the boy on the bay. I would then have showed him how to check his suzie and fuses, advised him to either make a temp plate, (yeh I know not strictly legal but better than nowt) or put his unit plate on trailer.
I would then have advised him to ring in about his unit light and at least write a defect out for it.
What I wouldn’t do is make a ■■■■ of him by i/d. ing his motor on a public forum, and if I did feel the need to photo it (trust me I would not) I would not have shown the co name.
We all have to learn mate.

+1 to the above though im surprised he never waited to get it all on dashcam not on dashcam with a few ooos and ahhhs for comments also. .

You can bet as sure as hell the guy has already had repercussions because of it.
Maybe the poor sod has lost his job down to the bad press towards the co. brought about by the o/p

Followed this in to rdc yesterday…then noticed no brake lights or indicators on trailer working and no numberplate on trailer.young kid took 5 mins to get on to the bay with all other bays next to him empty…then noticed his tractor unit rear light cluster missing
How often do Vosa pay your informants wages? …weekly,monthly or just after every successful prosecution?
Regarding the missing light unit, I have to wonder if the young lad was sold a story by his boss/colleges. As I’ve had a unit with a brake light out on the unit, and was told that it didn’t matter as you couldn’t see them with a trailer on. But I didn’t buy that, and shot off around our workshop to get it sorted. However having no lights on the trailer & no number plate is just being silly and asking for trouble…

That’s right, nobody is arguing any different, personally I would not have gone out with it in the first place.
It’s the way the o/p has gone about potentially dropping the… as he said, young, and evidently inexperienced driver in the ■■■■.That what my point was.
