M20 Brock Contraflow again starts this weekend.
Maybe because the open golf.is going on.thay way.
Am suprised there isn’t a Kent wide hgv ban while it’s happening
as.god forbid we can’t hgvs and the golfing crowd sharing the roads can we imagine the uproar
Altough ariticle says it’s because there expecting hoards of people. To descend on Dover for the ferries and channel tunnel.
Now I’ve not been paying to much attention to all the rules etc.
But don’t think we’re allowed to travel to France/France don’t want us to go as we pose a danger.
So not sure what there expecting to happen.
And here’s a thought there for ever saying about hgv driver shortage etc.
Why not park the holiday makers up on the M20 give all hgvs priority get them away quicker so they can get more jobs done instead of wasting time parked up
Plus parking the cars up could count that as there quarantine. Period keep them there for days…then straight onto the ferries
