Decent money on the face of it!

If you don’t mind working week-ends

Agreed that is good money

Funnily enough, I was looking at this exact same job in the week, as I’m planning to go and live on my narrowboat which is only about 30 minutes away from Sutton Coldfield by car, I reckoned if I did a 12 hour shift on Saturday and Sunday I could clear about £400 a week.

Looks alright to me!

Remember the standard agency/advert equation though:
Take the number of positions on offer and divide by 10. Then take the hourly rates, and take off £3/hour.

Still looks ok for 2.5 people though!

Yes, this is true, you have got to take it with a pinch of salt, although wages for truck drivers in the Midlands are generally higher than anywhere else in the country.

I think this is the JLR DHL contract at hams hall
basically you are a mobile warehouse from what i understand… lot of waiting around to get tipped.
And those rates are for Ltd Co/ Umbrellas

“Permanent Temporary”…

Is this another one of those jobs like Tescos Dagenham where you are not actually working for Tescos, but are Self-employed via some outfit like TRG?

Why talk about the “no quiet period in January” otherwise?

If the job is proper full time, not sub-contractor - you don’t give a toss about January - 'cos you’re getting paid work or not! :grimacing:

“Suitable drivers will we be required long term well into 2016 until at least April.”

Bit late posting it now then…

Yep!! I wondered about that as well!

Im guessing as they mention Jan/Feb and also work till April 2016 they posted this November last year and have quoted Xmas rates. Lazy ■■■■■■■■ just clicking on the re-submit button for their adverts.
