Good morning all. Thinking of moving to Worcester in the New Year(partners’ mum lives there). I’ve googled various companies,however,could someone recommend any decent companies? Many thanks in advance,and Merry Christmas.

Owens have a depot at Droitwich…decent enough firm.
You also have Tooles, Potters, Aitchenson Topeka, Wisemans, MCL…all within a 10-15 mile radius of Worcester…

Seconded. Sydeakinwoods works at Whites, so pm him for the info there. Tooles are ok, but disorganised a little bit. Steve walker is getting better - although its hard graft. Pinches dont pay the best but appar its easy work. There was a job going at Amco a few weeks back - again relative easy work.
I don,t know about Owens but I think Doughnut works for them.
You could try edgewicks at tewkesbury.
Depends on what you are looking for, but I would def avoid Pink.

not brilliant area for work . no big supermarket depot so definately no shortage of drivers . generally bad wage area .
but …
theres stofarts at hartlebury , think sawn timber and fancy bricks .always advertising through an agency temp to perm .

in worcester theres a sainsbury depot at shire park . think its DHL .
also CEVA , altho this is most clueless firm i have ever come across : first drop on headboard , 2 hours to bradford , london route sheets straight into lorry ban , no run sheets etc etc
also worcester boilers were advertising in local paper .
at pershore is also FerryFast and newish container firm 24/7 logistics . apparently only £100 daily but some sort of bonus on top and new actros if thats your thing .
someone mentioned AIM . this is evesham . avoid , its easy fridge but max hours @£110 daily flat paid monthly . tramping only . no expenses . leave to the ex soviets .
if you fancied fridge work then go to Bannisters . same sort of crap money as AIM but loads less hours , pay weekly , and top firm . fridge/freezers/micro in every truck , drivers room with shower and kettle and sofa . easy fridge work . some Italy if you want it .
fagan and whalley just round corner pay best .
if you want agency , none seem very busy .
Wright staff are ok , but wages low and often less than they tell you .nice enough people tho . prompt PAYE pay .
others are pure staff . they say they will do PAYE but then it comes through some “pay solutions” mob . no idea if its legit .
RE people recruit for wisemans dairy in droitwich . think ok agency .
another is Jark , no idea except i think they do drivers for construction jobs .
Best connection kidderminster do DHL TK Maxx at Droitwich . is a doddle .

I’ve got myself a place sorted in Malvern now, so i’m looking in Worcester, Malvern, Tewkesbury and maybe Hereford. The info the other guys have posted up helps me out too, so thanks lads
