Been asked to deliver some steelwork to Debdenhams, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon SS14 !EB, and as we don’t normally do shop deliveries, does anyone know if access is OK for a 13.6m trailer, presuming it will be going to the good in door.
Take your be going in the mark square entrance, Their deliveries are in service road F & G. No where to turn a artic around.
If I was you I would turn left into market pavement off southernhay then at the T junction turn left then reverse down into market square.
Debenhams is on the corner when you reverse down.
You’ll need someone to see you back as it’s busy round there. Unless you get there early.
The Rustler:
Sounds more like “building site delivery” than back-door delivery for the store. Can’t say I have ever seen rsj dept. near the perfume counter
Funny you should say that as there is alot of building work going on at eastgate at the mo.
I would have gone with Karls directions, (spot on) but have a funny feeling that because of the nature of the load perhaps it may be destined for where all the site loads go■■?
This I guess could be the service entrance, (whos name I forget) that is the 2nd left after the bus station, 1st left is car entrance only to spiral car park for eastgate.
It’s long steel sections for making shutter doors, the delivery address is just Debenhams, Eastgate Shopping Centre. Think it will be for a new door rather than to sell it on the shop floor! Will try direct to the back door first.
Thanks for the replies.
