A fantastic day today. Reversing has clicked. And if it goes to pieces I still have 2 shunts (not that I’m gonna need them).
Did 2 mock tests today and got very different results. First one was a good drive with 8 minors. Second was a much better drive with a stupid mistake giving me a serious fault. I pulled up on (very clearly marked) double yellow lines. Apart from that I accrued 5 minors.
So thanks to Pete for another good day and looking forward to a Pass tomorrow.

Well I made a complete pigs ear of it and will be back on 22nd for retest. 6 minors and 2 serious. Grrrr.
Got the reverse and the coupling in one. Then out on the road. 2nd turn out of the centre and I pulled out in front of a car. Then later I pulled out into oncoming van on the angled start.
Really kicking myself. Should have known better.
Roll on 22nd I say.

Sorry to read about not getting your pass today, but pleased like me you are in no way going to give up ! As my father told me when i started this ’ if it was easy everyone would be driving class 1 ’

Goodluck next time. My instructor told me never to feel too complacent as anything can happen on that 1 odd hour test. It’s not your driving you have to watch out for it’s other peoples!! anyway sure you will pass on the 22nd, goodluck.
