Do they move natural gas around by road then ?. I’ve never come across mains gas in Spain, is there any or do they put it into bottles and tanks ?.
Nasty, let’s hope he didn’t know anything about it and died very quickly.
I translated it but the copy/paste thing went wrong.
The cistern of a truck that transported natural gas has exploded after hitting against another truck to the 9,00 hours in kilometer four of a-91 railcar, in the municipality of Lorca (Murcia), after which the fire has propagated a near scrub. To the extinction workings the Lorca city councils of and Port have been added effective of the services of municipal emergencias of Lights, the helicopter of the Main directorate of Security Ciudadana and Emergencias with base in Culvert, as well as a forest brigade. In addition, the cash of emergencias that worked in the zone have found the rest of a person passed away inside the cabin of the operated truck, that belonged to a company of Lérida, according to sources informed into the Center of Coordination of Emergencias and into the Civil Guard. The driver of the second truck has been taken care of by a Movable Unit of Emergencias of the Murcian Service of Health by anxiety crisis, but he has not needed hospitable attendance. At the moment, the traffic of the railcar remains cut, and the vehicles are turned aside by alternative itineraries, of such form that those that comes from Murcia are lead by a-7, and those that they come from Almeria have to go by secondary roads. Of this form, the fire originated by the explosion of the cistern of the truck is not in danger to extend to a near powerboat, although a house left yes that has been affected, according to sources of the Center of Coordination of Emergencias consulted. In any case, the Center of Coordination of Emergencias has informed that the cash of emergencias have been able to practically control and to extinguish the fire declared in the zone of mount near the truck
Hasn’t translated too well, has it??

Firefighters managed to control the fire about 10.20 am.Sources at the Emergency Coordination Center and Guard Civil said the remains of a deceased person were found in the cab of the truck , which belonged to a company from Lleida.
The second truck driver was treated by a Mobile Emergency Health Service of Murcia for shock, but has not needed hospital care. For now, the highway traffic remains closed, and vehicles are diverted by alternative routes, so that those from Murcia use the A-7, and those from AlmerÃa be directed along back roads.
Emergency Coordination Centre reported that the fire caused by the explosion of the tanker truck was at no risk of spreading to a nearby gas station, although an abandoned house was affected.
The emergency services have virtually extinguished the fire in the forest area near the truck.

It mentions a traffic accident before the explosion and it also closed the railway line. That Volvo FH? looks a little scorched too.

It doesn’t mention a railway, that’s the really bad Babelfish translation.
This is the gist of what it actually says
The tank of a truck carrying natural gas exploded after colliding with another truck at 9.00 am at kilometer four of the A-91, in the municipality of Lorca (Murcia), after which the fire spread to a nearby wood.
It may have hit the scorched Volvo.
Tragic for the driver and his family either way.

Nick.
there’s no railway line near the motorway, the volvo got burnt from the explosion
across the other carriageway exactly opposite the tanker is a petrol station which got quickly evacuated

I read this one later
one report says the petrol station was unaffected while the other says the windows were blown out, just proves you can always believe what’s written in the press
