Hey guys, I’m just having a look at my training hours on my CPC online thingy and it appears the Las 2 modules I did are showing “invalid”. The info is all correct…course codes, dates, provider etc but does anyone have any idea why this would show this?

Looked at the info part on the site, says it’s likely cos I already completed 35 hrs.

The only reason that comes to mind is that those two 7 hour modules have been done outside the 5 year expiry date period
Example
Get first DQC expiry dated 09/09/19
Do another 35 hours and get new DQC expiry dated 09/09/2024
Do another 14 hours = will not count as not within 5 years of the new 09/09/2024 expiry date

Yeah, they would in theory have counted towards the next 5 years after 2024. I’ve done a fair bit of training this past couple years and been modules for all sorts…

You can’t do periodic training that far ahead, so those courses won’t count towards your DCPC periodic training.

Thought it a bit silly as you can get modules for everything now. I would have ended up with CPC for the rest of my days

They only show as invalid for 2 reasons
You don’t hold a valid licence category. I.e you should have done initial CPC
As has been stated, you’ve done too many courses
