DCPC - What other courses count?

Hi Guys, ive got 14 hours CPC so far ( Digi Tacho + Loading/Braking) etc, I was considering doing ADR to gain my extra 21 hours at the weekend someone told me that a forklift course counted as 7 hours too , so its got me thinking how can I find out exactly what courses count as I’d rather pay for things that may benefit me rather than sit the same courses over again just to gain the desired card. Cheers!

It could be anything as long as it is JAUPT approved. Someone more helpful will doubtless post a link. There is a provider near me that teaches first aid as a CPC for example.

loads to do, just make sure it’s jaupt approved and it gets uploaded! :grimacing:

jaupt.org.uk/Centre+and+Cour … ch/courses

Thanks Rog. No mention of forklift though in my postcode area, or full adr course.

Have you looked at this driverfirstassist.org/.

DFA membership covers a period of three years and the cost of becoming a member has two components. The first is the training course fee of £95 (+VAT) per person, including upload to the DSA database for Driver CPC. We think this represents excellent value for money.

How many hours is that Chris?
Is it the full 35?

good idea but bit pricey for me thanks.

The only course which I have heard many drivers say was extremely valuable was the First Aid course perhaps you should consider that.
