i’m just curious, Who do the trainers upload the DCPC to?
And why does it cost £8.75 per 7 hour course? If it is done online it should be free! Just saying!!!

Part of that is towards the £25 DQC
Cannot remember off hand what the rest is for but I think it is admin at the DVLA end
I don’t bother uploading it - I just takes the money and smiles
Training Centres have a login via the Government Gateway. Each course registered is listed and the person puts the driving licence number in. The system checks the number is valid and they then pay £8.75 by card - or have a pre0funded account they keep topped up.
I believe that consortiums - who happen to do something like 80% of the training across the UK have to send the licence details to the consortium head office who then do the upload as only the approved centre has login details. I suspect a few go missing this way due to the extra links in the communication lines.
When i run a course the upload is done the same day. Certificates are produced whilst the candidate is still there and I have stringent checks to ensure the upload is done. I then check the upload afterwards and print out the list of licence numbers to be checked off.
