My driver CPC expires on the 7th of May.
I’ve already completed 4X7 hour sessions/modules.
If i dont complete the final module to get my 35 hours by the 7th of May, do I have to start again?

No you will not have to start again from scratch.
The driver CPC training courses are valid for 5 years, so each course you’ve done is valid for 5 years from the date of completing the individual course.
Hope that helps
Yes, I think it does.
Thanks very much Tacho!
The hours stayed banked untill you have completed 5 days. Then your get your new card.
If you present card expires before hand obviously your be unable to drive
Like most people wether it’s your or your company why leave it so late to do it.
As you can space them out. as soon as your new card is issued you can start working towards your next one.
just do one course a year. Lot better than doing it all at once at the last minute
For clarity, driver CPC periodic training courses of 7 hours or 31/2 hours stay banked for 5 years from the date the course was completed.
Drivers can check the amount of valid training hours completed here
Thanks Edd.
It’s my part time job and I fit driving and the CPC in when i have time. Sometimes I dont have time. I gave myself six months to complete the 35 hours…and failed.
Ill get the last day done next week, hopefully.
small reminder for the others
if you do any short courses, they don’t count towards an international CPC, only a local i.e. you won’t be able to drive commercially abroad without the full 35 hours worth paid in full days “international” courses. As if many of us now even want to drive abroad with all the hassles involved.
