DCPC Mod 4

hiya, ive got my mod 4 test on a tuesday and i was reading through that topic “how a trucknet member passed mod4” and it said this in there:

“try to remember the four points they are after, you can stand there talking crap for half an hour but if you don’t say what they want to hear you will fail.”

what are these 4 points you have to mention? any other advice/info would be much appreciated

thank you all and good luck for the future

Each question has 4 parts to the answer. Each 1 of those 4 parts is worth 5 points and you MUST get at least 15 for every question. In fact you need more than that as 80 is the minimum pass mark from the 5 questions.

The question about the walkaround check has 10 parts to the answer with each correctly identified and demonstrated point worth 2 points each.

For example it’s no use saying that you would check the oil each day because that is not one of the 10 points on the examiners check sheet.

Maybe you could give him a bit of advise on what to say then, if the oil check is no use then, what kind of questions is he likely to ask then, that would be on the examiners check sheet? Or is it a big secret?

Yes, sorry. I have edited my post above and included a link to the complete set of questions & answers in a downloadable pdf
