I have to renew my LGV entitlement in November 2014, two months after my GF rights expire on the DCPC.
I wonder if I did my DCPC, then went on to fail my medical, who would I claim my costs back from?
I am not actually proposing this, but it is a point that I may have to investigate further and then may actually take it up.
well i suppose you might be able to claim it back if you failed it due to an accident, but other than that, i can’t see how you would be able to claim against anyone

As for claiming it back - no hope
Imagine doing a C+E course and test and then failing a medical a week later - do you reckon the training school and the DSA will refund you … I think not !!

Hiya…yes yes yessssssssssssssssss 3 to 4 months before the expiry date is ok for your medical.
i did mine for my birthdate (january) not realising my licence was due at the end of april. no problems.
