AHHAAHA I think they will need to change their dress code as that of armed police!!

Its a £30 Fixed penalty for not carrying a DQC - that is in VOSAs own sanctions list
Its up to £1000 for both driver and boss if they do not have the correct training
Its £200 for not carrying digicard I think.

This VOSA “friend” of yours didn’t happen to be an overweight slob, dribbling egg yolk over his copy of todays Sun newspaper, whilst licking hiss severely scraped knuckles did he?
I only ask cos’ (a) you have no friends, & (b) VOSA bods tend to not know what they’re doing tomorrow, let alone in Sept 2014.

If VOSA find you haven’t got a DQC then they are going to draw a line round your truck with pink chalk and you can’t move it until you get one. Plus, £30 for each turn of the winding handle.
