Dcpc Bypass

by the time you have waited for and paid for the two modules, plus the hire of a vehicle with which to take module 4, probably in excess of £350 for the morning, and you could fail both, why would you not pay about £350 for the dcpc training and possibly learn some thing, with free tea and biscuits, time for a ■■■, possibly meet up with old mates, (or avoid them) spin a few yarns about the good old days of dolly knots and the split fingers they caused, rubbish food, rubbish digs, lorries you could walk faster than the speed they could attain, waiting for days (not hours like some rdcs) at some of the dockyards, only to get to the front with no union card and told to go away until you have one, men hiding in little wooden sheds at the side of the road logging the trucks movements, oh the good old days,

men hiding in little wooden sheds at the side of the road logging the trucks movements,

There is still one of them on A303 :open_mouth:

Been around for a while but to do the 2 initial modules a number of hoops need to be got through - its not easy to book it if a driver already had acquired rights

The initial mods option is only for those who have never been issued with a DQC

Anything rather than pay a decent hourly rate and stop the stupid number of hours a driver is forced to pay just to earn a half decent living.
If there is a driver shortage surely the wages should go up? Its called supply and demand.

There is no driver shortage. The figures are gained from 2 places, the job centre, where 75% of jobs are agency, and blue chip companies who utilise agency staff for peak schedules. Can anyone come on here and name a blue chip that hasn’t got a single agency? Sainsburys use loads, so obviously need more staff, but try getting a job there and they say no vacancies
