Dazed and Confused

did you get yer mam to sew it onto your speedos then?

My mam did. She was rubbish at needlework, both S’s fell off, I got banned from the council baths and put on a register. :imp: :imp:

My swimming teacher sewed my badge onto the back of me trunks, while I was wearing them.

Fnarr fnarr. …
And Dipper is back for good. We missed you buddy. Let’s take that shot again.

Take note that I was the only one to take this seriously in the last page or so . :sunglasses: …Christ that makes a change !. but nice to see that somebody else is getting the flak for a change.
I’m starting to feel a bit left out here, as the serious one  …but never mind me think of the o/p he was ā€˜Dazed and Confused’ yesterday, Gawd knows what he’s like now.

Loved the speedo gag btw Maost.

The oldies are the best Robroy. At least that’s what I tell anyone who’ll listen.

I’ve got a needlework merit badge from the fourth form…

I got a 10m swimming badge

I’ve got a 25 yard swimming cert (none of that johnny foreigner malarkey about then) and a cycling proficiency cert :sunglasses:
Never had the chance to get involved in the girly classes, worse luck, all boys school, but we did have a rifle range and enough small arms to start a minor war, we probably got the better deal

I’ve got a 10mm spanner

I got a BSc, my old man quite proud of me for that and would tell all his mates down the pub till he found out it was only a 10 yd breast stroke certificate, he never spoke to me for a long time after that…

cos I know you lot can’t touch me on my pootah credentials.

You may be right… I have…

HTML from start to 5 + css
Perl / CGI
MYSQL
LINUX
Unix
Php
Windoze / server
RUBY
DOS

Plus others

Speak 5 languages and find it rather amusing watching idiots with a huge chip feeling oppressed by words they do not understand.

. Long list of names… close lol

You’ve trumped me on the languages. Back in the Unix days, I was using the brand-new RISC and transferred operating system and server handling NMIs to Micros quite nicely (Late 80’s)
My first computer job was Lucas CAV back in the days of endless tape mounts and bringing up CICS in time for breakfast. I hated that job actually, 'cos it was 5x12 hours nights on a fraction of the pay everyone else working with me was getting. :imp:

Men in white coats with large foreheads leaps to mind. The OS stuff is my weakest, I’m ok, break it fix it - getting rusty. Coding is what I really like… tis my obsession. Can’t sleep till it works etc.

So another new member receives a nice warm welcome from those who believe themselves to be popular. No doubt anyone who isn’t stupid will look at this and others and consider their position before joining and their approach if they do.

No doubt all the one liners of abuse will follow with the ironic word troll attached… genuine irony. Interesting for a forum that does not permit light profanity. Wake up admin… your advertisers are observing.

All he’s done is act like a condescending tw*t since he got here, rubbishing pretty much everyone and then not backing up statements because they might identify him.

As a boss, I know I’m not popular. So there goes one theory. Trucknet has a certain feel to it and if you don’t like it, why join? I’m on a different forum marketed towards middle-age women and, unsurprisingly, the feel there is different and I adapt to it, not expecting evryone to adapt to me.

Good analogy Joey

Ermm…Any chance of a link to that other forum? [emoji38]

I knew you were really a middle aged woman really…not what you meant? [emoji38]

Hey Albion. EB will fit right in on that other forum. He knows how to roll, usually with a diet coke. [emoji1]

I reckon all posters should have their real name as their user-name. It might make some people think twice about what they write.

I do, and it does.

Being a staunch Yorkshireman, I says what I likes, coz I likes what ah bloody well says.
