turns up at 1pm,only to be told we have ceased trading as from today.
so if you know of a job in soton for a class 1 or C + E ,let me know asap.
at least he did tell it to me face,and not just phoned up.

I think people just try to keep going as long as they can JB. and Christmas is as good, or bad as any time. I have known some big companies shut up shop at the end of the year.
There are other jobs around though. Its not like when every job was taken.

I also heard a rumour that New Milton Sand and Ballast were after Class 1 drivers but like I say…just a rumour.
as a follow up;
emptied the truck by eleven ,got start with local company tomorrow,at 6am,at least till xmas with a view to perm in the new year.
I know the company ,as i have pulled there loads only last week,so fingers crossed it will work out?

see above i started tue morn on temp till xmas with the veiw to perm? in new year.
