Day / Early work for medicore-but-OK money (?)

Getting sick of mixed agency day & night work, class 1 trunking. Been doing this 5 years agency for a big blue chip company.

Is it possible to clear £450 a week after tax, starting between 2am & 6am-ish? Max 3 or so drops to private premises, not being near Joe Public. Closest I’ve done is Royal Mail on agency, I think there is 7.5t work out there which doesn’t involve a million multidrops. Problem with supermarket or ADR work in my experience, is you never know in advance if they will be a second run, turning a 10hr day into closer to 15hrs :exclamation:

I just do 3 days , if it’s 15 it’s 15 , if it’s 6 drops in London so be it , if they send me back out so be it , different place most days , I’ve only refused one request & that was from the agency to go to derby , said no , too far , just sent me elsewhere
There’s loads of work out there , easily earn £450 ( I’m amazed there’s anyone still paying £450 a week )
I’d go full time but all the company drivers have ■■■■■■ the job up by doing 5/6 days so no-one wants a driver doing 3 days , or the places I’ve been offered jobs do
But I won’t change , 3 days is enough

Dunelm is currently 36k.

Starts in a 2 hour window you select.

Usually 2 store drops and 1,2 or 3 collections

Thanks that gives me some ideas, basically big retailers who survived Covid, internal distribution to stores :bulb:

Have a look at any bakeries in your area, they tend to do early starts. Only a few deliveries if going to stores, no collections and the loads are pretty light compared to some pallet work
