Davy Ritchie RIP

I’ve just want to announce the sad passing of an retired lorry driver Mr Davy Ritchie ex employee of Kinneil Transport of Edinburgh and J B McBean of Kirknewton Mid Lothian this gentleman along with my Dad taught me a lot about road transport he’ll be sadly missed RIP Big Davy

It must be almost thirty years since i last had a pint with davy, in the Queen Victoria pub in Auchendinny. He used to deliver loads from the paper mill in the village there , he would set off on a weekend, with his first drop being around the Beccles,or Bungy region’s of suffolk. Davy was as you say a real gent and I am sure will be sadly missed by all who knew him RIP Davy.
