Davies Int. Southampton. With photos (Part 2)

Those blue and clear plastic boxes littered hard shoulders all over Europe! :open_mouth:

And the jugs of rouge were responsible for a few headaches.

Busy on ships stores in Southampton today

How many nights out do they get for that?

After tipping that load he reloaded and headed off up the road and tipping in Newcastle on another ship today along with two others so yes he did get a night out :+1:

One for Buzzer:

Thanks Les just reminds me of hard work back in the day, Here is Andrew delivering in Southampton on Sunday morning after church.

Thanks again Les she ran in our fleet and went all over Europe alongside the modern trucks, even went to Bosnia during that conflict and was well known and respected, in a private collection now. This is the efforts of this afternoon below, 6 x half gallon jars and 12 x 2lb jars of pickled shallots, far better than onions IMHO. that said half done so more to go yet as they are popular.

I love shallots. I sometimes use them raw in salads!

So do I mate, when I was a kid at home we had steak, home made chips & fried shallots every Saturday tea time which I always looked forward too. Got them from the internet and the first lot sent were all soft so rang the sender and there was no quibble as they sent out replacements straight away, Buzzer

We’ve got a local greengrocer who sell them. Like you, I often fry them too.

Shipping out, out this morning as its haz and the wee one needs a 45, just back from a cruise so not really back to match fitness just yet.

Andrew departing Tracy Island playing catchup to Chip en route to Civitivechia

Session two done today as it was very showery outside, this completes the 36kgs I ordered but had to send out for more vinegar to complete the process, should be ready for consumption in about six weeks or so, a lot smaller this year than last but that maybe down to the dry weather.

Here we go again rounding Genoa this morning on way to Civitavecchia for Monday

Restocking Bolette in Liverpool today

Here you go buzzer - platform’s yours!
