Remember the old man letting them spread this on one of our fields, one hell of a green sword where it fell though, Buzzer
Back in the 1990’s we were using various farm fields for caravan rallies and the portaloos were usually emptied into the farm slurry spreader and then sprayed onto the field after we departed.
Pete.
Full on day sorting out the new arrivals and turning them out to grass, ran them trough the crush to blackleg inject them before turnout, 14 down on the marsh another 12 in a field I normally make haylage in and they all looked pleased to be out, Buzzer
Evening Buzzer
It’s a good sight to see content cattle grazing outside after a long winter, we’ve a few heifers out and some cows with calves but the majority are still inside.
Tipped Thirsk this morning then loaded for Byfleet, now parked up at Cherwell Valley ready for a can of ale…
Cheers Wrighty.
As this is the TN Tractor thread, I find the story of the Russian troops stealing $5 million worth of John Deere farm vehicles from Ukraine, only to find they’ve been remotely disabled backs up other stories of UK Farmers falling behind with payments and having their kit remotely immobilised.

Interesting as I once read about remotely disabling cars in the USA, the thieves became aware of such devices and removed before stealing so a manufacturer came up with the idea of enclosing such devices within the chassis, not only did it stop the vehicle in its tracks but automatically locked the thieves inside the car, this devise also tracked the vehicle and police could then trace quickly & apprehend them before escape, Buzzer
Hi all, Buzzer i hope you are not working him too hard remember he is getting on a bit.

Yes our mighty Iveco seems to be performing well in it’s first few weeks, although it does have a liking for Ad Blue but it will probably settle down with a few K’s on the clock.
Busy up ere marking sheep and lambs out of the meadows and turning cows and calves out to grass, best time of year for me but it could with warming up a bit…
