Did someone say it was Caen, we are still at it, Buzzer
Hi Harvey
In Johns case Harry Phillips brought some & carried using Johns’ colours when John went white.
We dont sell lorries they just fade to the back of the yard after 20 or so years.
John put a Foden & Volvo on here not so long ago I must say the Foden only did 9 years.
F88 18 years
F12 21 years
95 Daf 19 years (expoted)
We only have new now for Euro 6
Probably the 80s & 90s were best for lorries nice cabs air susspension & you could still repair them yourself & 99% of the time get them home whatever happened
Cheers Rich

I would have my 2006 DAF back in an instant.
Manual box, good brakes, exhauster and retarder, good cab suspension etc. No AdBlue, no lane departure, no emergency braking for bridges…
Lovely weather again today sun is shining, very quiet except for egg collections from the mansion, after lunch out in the green house and potted up about 300 runner bean seeds and 200 French bean seeds, very laborious but a job that has to be done so lets hope for good results or at least better than last year, cheers Buzzer.

Come on Rich, where the photos of those old Volvo’s chap ■■
Quick visit to Salisbury market today on me own as strict rules now apply in all markets, disposable gloves on into the office to register name and contact number in the book which is how it is now, had a skyte up and down the pens but almost ere as not many present, counted 29 round the ring and in the seats all well spaced as instructed, two Angus men there today so no chance but a empty road on the way there and back made the trip all the more enjoyable, Buzzer.
Well after a long weekend at home (much needed I can tell ya) all clean again before another foray into France
Thirty years ago, what a motor Buzzer

Looks good Buzzer, reckon we should have some photos from the market next time you go chap !
Hi Buzzer do you recall when we done some traction for D.I.T. a few years back ? No! well here is a reminder as apparently you were not so keen to venture futher North than Brum —something to do with not being able to find a good pint of Scrumpy Oo ! Argh!. And Northern brewed bitter was a tad strong for you Lads !!!
Cheers Dennis
While on the Premier Refrigerated Transport thread we did do some traction work for Frigo and we could have put about 5 or 6 units on for them full time but no could do as we always had bags of our own traffic but they were a decent outfit to work with as I recall. This is a Sunday morning shot in the depot which as I remember was absolutely stuffed with loaded trailers ! Cheers Dennis.
Well Bewick & Davies who’d of thought that ■■?
Anyway parked next to this other night in France tidy outfit just a bit low on front for me!!!
That’s better in the sun lol
Evening Buzzer
Well it’s been another busy week on the work front, tipped concrete staircases in the centre of Liverpool on tues morn and finished off loading a 310hp Case at Carstairs on Wed afternoon. been busy today soiling up around the new shed and filling holes in fields with the spare, it’s been ideal as the land is so dry now we can travel anywhere without making a mark. Jobs looking good most of the mucks on and most of the fertiliser all it has to do now is grow…
Cheers Wrighty.
Been dry here to for three weeks mate but in the last day we have had some of the wet stuff and ideal it is as well as it was needed and will make the grass gel on, went to Salisbury market Tuesday as I mentioned before in a post and a right weird feeling as social distancing well observed but only 29 that I counted when the auction fired up, no bargains though any thing any good made its money, right strange if your selling as you cant wait and watch your stock sold.
On another note I have agreed a price to sell my 29 steers from home so no commission or transport costs just waiting for conformation and then they will be away, but nought happens till moneys in the bank so to speak then I think I may buy a dozen for May 1st turn out on the summer grazing I have, cheers Buzzer.

Hi Rich, sorry bit late in getting back, grass, fence painting, greenhouse, all get in the way these days.
I think you are right keeping them in the back of the yard, will be worth a lot of money one day if covered up.
Finding an old for that 95 Daf will be easier than a 19 year old ECU.
Take care. Harvey
Hey up Wrighty just had the chap on the phone who is coming to pick up my steers he is called Sam and when I mentioned you he said I know him so what a small world it really is eh, we have to tie the paperwork up first though before ought moves from here, cheers Buzzer.
