Well done Gazzer you are putting “snapper” to shame now on the posting of pictures front, he is all or nothing nowadays, JD.
Afternoon Buzzer
We it’s been a week from hell for me, started last fri night with an ear infection and I thought I could see through till Monday morning with pain killers.
Turned out I lasted until about 3.30pm on Sat and gave in and had to do a two hour round trip to A+E at Northallerton, got seen by a doctor who told me “yes you have a temperature which is probably due to an infection” he then went on to inform me that they no longer prescribe antibiotics for ear infections, and to go home and keep taking pain killers if it doesn’t improve then go and see your own doctor.
I managed to see my doctor first thing Monday who took one look in mi ear and said “urghhh thats a mess, that should of been treated sooner” when I told him about going to A+E he couldn’t believe it.
So here I’m sat nearly seven days later on antibiotics, strong pain killers and ear drops, I managed about four hours sleep last night which is the most yet.
Anyway on a brighter note we have put some yows and lambs into the new shed today, I will post some pictures in due course.
Right thats Mi moan over for today it’s now back to the crap they call daytime TV.
Cheers Wrighty.
Hi Wrighty, Thought you hadn’t posted in a bit, not that I’ve had ear probs but yeah its a tender place. Get well soon as missing your photos. Cheers Bobs

An update Dean as today the bulls did pass the TB test but when I viewed one was lame and the vet inspected it and found it had an infection which was ■■■■■ so he made an incision to relieve the pressure and administered some anti biotics and this sort off cocked the deal up a little. I was still interested but he would not move on his price not even a smidgen so I declined especially when he said he had someone from Shropshire interested, Bulls are not everybody’s choice and to be honest if they had have been steers I would not have hesitated, they need to go to a finisher really as they would be meat in six months with the right grub. Did tell him to come back to me if the other chap fails to show so we will wait and see.
Never buy an animal with an ailment that already exists as its bad enough when you get one of your own fails, you never know if will truly correct itself so not worth the risk, cheers Buzzer.
Ey Oop Wrighty…
Bloody painful …i went through a period in the 90’s getting a lot of ear infections… hope it calms down soon.
Don’t go watching that Daytime TV , that way lies madness
All the best Baldrick.
Wrighty hope your recovery goes well, suspect its worse than the earake you get from Alice time to time, below is “snapper” starting his weeks work this morning, Buzzer.
Cross company collaboration:
A Hampshire Grain customer who are confectionery manufacturers, based in Stoke, have requested a experimental supply of Group 4 milling wheat, pre heated to +30degC. The box will heat to +30 and maintain the temperature in transit to delivery. 4 bulk bags loaded for popcorn manufacture and because the corn is pre heated, significantly speeds up the process.
Could be a new line of business for Davies International.

Sounds like you made the right decision chap. I have lost count how many do you have in the current heard ?
Dean current numbers are 24 all single suckled Aberdeen Angus crosses and they are glad to be indoors at the moment with all this rain, still looking for a few more but not panicking, pigs off to the slaughter house tomorrow then they deliver back to my butcher in Titchfield on Tuesday for jointing and the all important sausage making, will try and remember to take some pictures tomorrow, cheers Buzzer.

He never lasted long, gone back to Spain to charge his batteries up
Just a small interlude before I step back into the rough n tumble of nit picking and bitchyness that I am above.
Snapper, being at the front of the train means you just missed the last one!
Buzzer: As you get on in the golden years, some things such as R&R are much appreciated. Many have to work flat out until retirement and some beyond to make ends meet. Back in 1979, on a trip in the cold month of March, I was down here in southern Spain, the temperature being mid 20,s, instilled in me that “I could live here”. So it has always been an intention that I could do all that at just 45!
Hiya Buzzer one of your fleet on at 1 min 7 secs cheers Dan .
