Davies Int. Southampton. With photos (Part 1)

Tuesday morning and TB testing ahead, 35 to do and I enlisted 4 men to help and we needed them, the vet Maria from Spain was good and helpful on the crush yoke, although we had a thirty foot race set up in the end we just let one in at a time and some just go ballistic. Got knocked ■■■ over ■■■ but learned quick stand to the side when releasing the crush gate, got a big bruise on me hip bone now and it still smarts. When we were done we put the feed troughs back in but there were only a few dared to go back in there, roll on Friday when we retest and hoping all clear but you never know, Buzzer

Well here we are at the end of another week, got the kite for “Larry” from the auction on Monday first part of the annual TB test Tuesday and today was the day of reckoning, all my three helpers were here at 9am an hour before the vet, got them all out so we could litter up and fill the feed trailer which all went well. The steers were not behaving well and just did not want to play ball but after an hour and a half we got there and very pleased as we are all clear test which was a mighty relief I can tell you. Just got to organise where they will be sold now then we can have a little rest bite till I get the buying fever again which will be a little later on, Buzzer.
