Been a busy first week in the new job, double manning for the first three days whilst we moved a combine from Turrif to Portbury dock. Out on my own today shifting tractors for a local dealer, off now until Tuesday so will be getting some farming done only another 45 to lamb so life should be getting a bit easier now.

Wrighty,
Sorry to but in on a very interesting thread you and buzzer have here, you new firm looks good by the way.
Just a question, and I’m probably wrong, I seem to remember loading jcbs from uttoxeter and them not letting you leave unless you had double straps on a least one axle ? I could and never will understand why they had that rule.
Is the place in Selby also a 2nd hand dealer ? As somewhere in my memory I’m sure I loaded a old tractor from up that way to take to Motril in spain.

Yeh I only put 1 ■■■■■■■■ as I was only going up to Scotch corner to drop two off, then delivered my last tractor to Grewelthorpe and picked 2 tractors up to take home so double strapped them so I could keep her lit down’t dale and yam.
Yes the chap I picked up from at Selby is a dealer, and they were very tidy tractors.
Tidy bit of kit there Wrighty and a bit of a change from tank work and suspect the hours are a little more sociable too, look forward to more pictures as our followers like them so keep up the good work, Buzzer.
Busy today finished putting up the heras fence for me beans and installed the water seep pipes as well, then building a little trailer on an old chassis I was given to cart me cattle handling gates round on and now just come from me neibour’s green house where all my bean plants are and given them a good watering, always summit to do, Buzzer.
Getting through lambing now with about 25 left to lamb now the work really starts, there’s a saying up ere “any fool can lamb sheep it’s keeping em goin that teks doin” and how right they are…
Off to a farm sale on Saturday looking for bargains but as you know you never get owt cheap at a farm sale, busy at work delivering and collecting machinery delivered two tractors to Telford one to Castle Donnington and then collected a water bowser at Chesterfield for back home.

Aye Bewick I did my notice period so the door should be open if I ever need to return, but this new job is ideal for me tramping around farms and dealers all over the country so we shall see how it goes…
Punchy Dan the site was just off Brimmington Rd and yes the A61 runs right alongside, can’t comment on the night life in Sedbergh but if tha wants a better craic get thisel upt Hawes…

Very eco friendly trailer that Buzzer, even the tyres are green.
Did’nt mind the green on the tyre’s m8, never been into bling me you should know that, Buzzer.
Buzzer. That green paint reminds me of an old tin of Jimmy Rawlings paint that somehow found its way into my possession. I then sold it to Horry for the price of a cup of tea as I was down on my luck at the time. Now the question is Did he resell it to you thereby ripping off his old Dad Or did he give it to you for your birthday? I would appreciate an answer on the back of a new plastic fiver.
