Multi talented man there truck driver, farmer and gardener keeping all three jobs going at once. We have a few holes in our lawn now as our new Labrador “Woody” likes to dig and if he doesn’t stop we are going to have a pitch and putt green before too long Buzzer.
Went for a walk round cattle tonight and one of the steers has jumped a low fence in with the cows and calves so will have to sort that out tomorrow, also got the farrier coming at ten to shoe all four horses so going to be a busy day, Buzzer.

Good afternoon ,i think i like the farming posts better than them old trucks.the holes in the grass look like they were learning to dance…im just getting blasted by air con, after 3 hours on the beach,29,30 today…ive been pricing up the meat in the butchers shops compared to ours, all about the same…volvo seem to have the monoply here all top of the range old motors but no ad blue tanks to be seen.or a lot of tread either so me were like slicks…by the time we are well out of the eec they will still not be caught up, mum, child, dad, on a scooter no helmets.pdb

Yesterday did me bit of fencing and managed to get the lone steer away from the cows, had it in a coral and the thing jumped a five bar gate could not believe it but managed to reunite with his mates so hope it stays that way. Starting to feed them a few nuts to get them to come to a white bag as this is a lot easier when I want to move them rather than chasing them round a field.
Today we went down to the New Forest with the horses and had a pleasurable drive of about 18 miles, the weather was warm considering we are heading fast into October and it is getting a bit sharp at nights now just waiting for some ■■■■ to tell me how many shopping days till Christmas, Cheers Buzzer.

Our new Labrador is growing fast and we do not notice it as much as others who visit us as we see him all the time, think I have his attention here as I am holding the gravy bone biscuit he has his eye on, Buzzer.

You’re gorgeous Woody woof woof!

Hi John,
Hope you and The Boss are well, looked out for you today sat here with a sausage sandwich and a cup of tea,but no sign of you and the horses. !!

Regards
Richard

Dear Ricardo we were down the New Forest on a drive with the horses today for a change and the Boss came too, on Sunday we are reaching a milestone of being wed 40 years and I still don’t think she realizes how lucky she is to have picked such a brilliant entrepreneur who has given her all a woman would wish for in life, but in truth it’s probably me who is the lucky one to have had such a stalwart by my side through thick and thin over the years.
As you will know well that beautiful young Angie is what has made you what you are today, its not your legal expertise that has made you a name to be reckoned with. Some how woman always turn out to be wiser when decision making and bloody annoying that is too, remember her sheeting a fourty footer in Fawley the poor we thing but she is made of tough stuff and she told me on the QT that it was her money that paid for you to go to university to gain your QC, now wether that is correct I don’t know but I suspect it is, all the best Buzzer.

Looking good Buzzer

It’s my parents golden wedding tomorrow and you’re right, I think mi mother deserves a medal, we don’t realise how lucky we are having partners who put up with us being away most of the week…
Well its been a busy week up ere, tailing yows ready for the tups, fencing and to top it off a caesarean on Wednesday afternoon.
It was her third calf, her first calved early and was dead, the second was to time but was stillborn so this was last chance saloon for her and after making no effort to calve the vet was called. After much debate it was decided to open her up and get the calf out which was a crackin bull, but alas it had a lot of fluid on it’s Lungs and was dead Thursday morning.

Aye dear this farming lark isn’t always a bed of roses is it, but still we keep going been up to lanchester today then across to Lockerbie for a chester…

All the best for Sunday from Alice and myself…

Cheers Wrighty.

Thanks Wrighty we are lucky really with our woman, went to get mine some anniversary flowers today and aint they got expensive especially red roses, any way I had to go to five different cemetery’s to get these 40 beauties and then got a friend to put em together who is a bit handy as she works for a florist. Did’nt really had to look big and pay up but I know she is worth every penny, the only trouble is her favourites are friesia’s so had to buy some of them as well, spoilt of what, cheers Buzzer.

You might like to pass the hat round for me Buzzer , wife’s birthday on monday and our 53rd wedding anniversary on wednesday . who’s daft idea was it to get married near to her birthday? . I’ll give you two guesses and it wasn’t me . But i wouldn’t be without her , it would be like losing a limb . dave

Who’s as smooth as a chocolate egg then

Dennis I bet under that rock hard ceramic skin of yours you are every bit as gooey than the rest of us except in buisness, its just a man thing really we just don’t like any body see that side of us as we all think we are macho men but when push comes to shove we aint that.
Bet through your life you more than once relied on the better half for a bit of moral support, they just seem to have an instinct when it is needed and as Rigsby said life would not be the same without them , cheers Buzzer.

Re the Wellow wiz kid and his QC. I have insider info on his qualifications. It appears that it was gained from the University of Bangalore by post. It cost him £18 and a book of Greenshield stamps. Good bargain. Congratulations to yo Buzzer and your good lady. Hope you have a wonderful day. Regards Charlie
