Wrighty that pic must be the back of another one of your trucks, cant imagine you getting wet just to give the punters something to view. Keep them pics coming Mate Buzzer.
No chance Buzzer, although to be fair I am resembling a drowned rat at the moment, I was in the queue for the wash.
Washing now then off to Northwich for a load back to Chester, tip that at six int morn then load skim for east yorks. Only in for three days this week and then three days of farming and relaxation…
Cheers Wrighty.
Hi wrighty ,are you part time this next week then, 3 days, who is going to pay my pension if you blokes only work 3 days , looks like big issue sales for me then, ill be outside boot s .i will have to borrow a dog, or maybe you could donate a lamb…
Buzzer years ago when I was far afield the .term full house was used =ie ghonarrea , crabs, and warts[venereal] all in one go, thank god they were NOT like you poor young beast…and you had to tell all because of the shower and toilet arrangements, one loo with the placard ON THE DOOR for all to see SAID CRABS ONLY…100%TRUE…
Afternoon PDB,
Yes I could get used to part time but unfortunately it doesn’t pay the bills! normaly work five then have three off, then work five and have two off.
Tipped east yorks now going home to Wensleydale to load milk for Leeds tomorrow, then off for three days.
Bit of a hornets nest you’ve started Buzzer with the old euro jobby, think it will be an out from us…
Cheers Wrighty.
Wrighty I love a bit of opinion from all sides on the EU, at least we get a flavour of what people out there are thinking. Me I have made it clear what I want to happen OUT as soon as possible and it seems a lot of others on here think the same. There has been mention on how it will effect the Scottish industry but they wanted to sever connections with Whitehall although that did not happen in the end.
Busy day today for me, after church ha ha I cleaned all the horses out with my trusty little Avant loader which is a brilliant little machine, put all the muck under the steers and in about half an hour they had trod it all down firm, Hoss muck is a bit strawy but by the time we get to clean out the cattle shed it will be good stuff.
PDP glad you enjoy the input on this thread, variety is the spice of life and these old computers open up the world in our own front rooms, Rain forecast for tomorrow but looks better for the middle of the week so shoul be able to get the team out, cheers for now Buzzer.
Just got of the sea front and it is getting slightly chillier, soon be 2 hats…where has MR Morrison gone, hope he is not in EUROPE DRUMMING UP VOTES…
Buzzer you will have to rub shoulders with Mr Corbin and that [NICE MAN] GEORGE ,GO-AWAY, GALLOWAY…personally I do not give 2 MONKEYS ■■■■■ , longer beds and longer in them I say.
Just what seafront PDB I am intrigued to know, thought it would be a bit chilly did you go in, have you a wet suit ? talking of longer beds remember sleeping across the hump in an AEC Mandator with make do ply boards on the window ledges, you always woke up with a crick in your neck and curtains froze to the windows inside, what we did in the name of transport when young and stupid cheers Buzzer.

Wrighty is that an oven they are in, heard of farmers wives warming up poorly lambs that way till they get stronger, Buzzer.
Yes Buzzer that’s the trusty old Rayburn, works a treat on badly lambs and sleepy jack Russell pups…
Two of us sat in Wensleydale waiting to load milk.
Hi all still here mr pdb don’t worry not touting for votes to stay in either lol
Your comments about the ‘mandator’ John got me thinking to when my dad had one but he had a hammock fitted to back wall used to roll it out & I curled up on engine hump with my head squashed under his arse another mh moment lol
Front of boat for a change last week
Getting colder in Holland en route to Denmark
Loading Denmark for uk unusual load for this neck of the woods Pizza’s??
Don’t very often get on front of ferry normally chucked on back with running fridge but was put on front for the return as well
& now you can all go order pepperoni pizza from Dominos safe in the knowledge that they’ve got em in stock & will be fresh lol
Yes Wrighty the dog will do nicely ,make a good cattle dog[ nipper ], and the lamb in 6 months ,with roasties .mint sauce, buttered cabbage, Yorkshire pud not aunt Bessie a good old fatty bottomed one…nice cold with just a hint of salt.
Did you know, the first milk from a cow that has just! calfed, [it has a name and if forgot what it is]was prized , where I came from, the local baker wanted it ,also my mum, as she made the best Yorkshire you have ever had with it, I can still see It now, it still had l, slightly blood streaks in it. double lush…
The seafront is Littlehampton buzzer, they just spent nearly 2 million on a new river walk way,and flood defence, and a border post .to keep FARAGE OUT lol.
Well Andrew I know that road to PABORG, SO WELL I worked from Padborg! as a “SPRINGER”, if you do not know what it is ask any Danish transport ,driver ,they will tell you .Padborg to LOCKERN ,was a regular shift…mostly only Danes know what it is…
As for CABBING IT if you got caught on BRS you would be sacked because digs were the way to go ,so no never slept in the cab until I had a Crusader.1997ish however before then, when I was on the cattle trucks anything went, inside the box in the straw in the little luton , enough room for a bale and half, or over the bonnet with coats and sacks [engine covers noise retarders], news paper ,up your trousers leg, that is why I went to the BRS TO GET AWAY FROM THAT but in the end transport changed as you know so we cabbed it like all the others… god save sleepers cabs the best invention since penicillin…dbp, pbd.
