Buzzer:
The day it went from our fleet 141 ex Sparks, cant believe i used to spend over a grand on eminox exausts, cheers Buzzer.

Well you can’t take it with you and I’m sure everyone enjoyed listening to them at the time, lorries too quiet now. Was it always just Volvo/Scania or did any other marques ever make it onto the fleet?, any demonstrators that impressed?.

Hi “NB12” in the early days started with TK Bedfords then a D series Ford and a bullnose FG all seven and a half tons, then an AEC Marshall six wheeler and on to an AEC Mandator after that all Volvo and Scania secondhand at first then progressed to buying new but cant remember running any other marque, cheers Buzzer.

In the fuzziness of time I’m sure there was a DAF or two…one is still pulling containers…

Are you sure there aren’t are few foreign speaking employees on low wages in your entourage? Mappo speaks weirdly these days…a hangover from his past there!

Hi Gazzer on last page of scrapbook memories a pic ok EAA770W

Of course as always Gazzer you are right about the Dafs but i prefer to forget about them except the 2800 which was always said to be a guvners motor although not the most exciting drive in the world.

As for Mappo and his funny sounding voice i think that has alot to do with his past and the wearing of those tight short shorts he used to model unfortunately they have left him permanently damaged which apparently is unrepairable so he has to live with it,cheers Buzzer.

Hi "NB12"sorry i forgot about the Daf’s but im’e getting on a bit now and these memory blocks occur now and then, cheers Buzzer.

I seem to be more or less alone in posting on here Gazzer, so a little more input from others would be nice, not nice going to find yourself on page two or three, cheers Buzzer.
PS.anyway Gazz it might of interest to some one else to feature that pic on here, in fact i think that come to think about it that motor was driven by a reletive of mine,so there.

Hi John,

Those horses are a credit to you,I hope you didn’t get caught by the speed camera on Northam bridge

IKEA probably thought you were a Gothen burger !
