Just another case of privatising the UK, I note that this will not apply to current roads but for new roads and widening existing roads, so if they widen the M6 does it then become a toll road.
Maybe Stobarts will build their own road system, mind you 3am on a sunday morning it seems like they already have!

Seriously this is so frustrating, more Tolls and Taxation = less compaines able to absorb the cost = higher prices at the checkout in your local shop. I bet the Tory boys get issued a “Toll Tag” and travel free.
Private cash needed to boost roads network, says David Cameron - BBC News

Stobarts will probabably buy the road network and tax everyone for using them except them

I have never been able to get my head round this(we build more roads it increases traffic ),this is what the greens allways say,so when a new road gets built do more people rush to the show rooms to get a car to put on that new road, populatation going up so we need more houses ,roads ,trains ,trucks , water ,hospitals, power stations, jobs, cemiterys, buses…uncle tom cobbly and all.

The population wouldn’t go up as fast if we didn’t have a government that wants an open door immigration policy and the greens are right about a zb planning policy that’s based on turning the south east into a concrete jungle made up of roads, airports, rail lines, and housing estates while other parts of the country remain an empty wilderness.Usually forced on us by zb’s like Cameron who makes sure that he’s well out of it all living in the Cotswolds. :imp:

The fact is it’s that type of thinking that has always been the type of planning policy that turns the the countryside of places like Surrey into big cities like London. The place has actually always followed that idea to the letter which usually just results in a situation of no one with any sense wanting to live there and wanting to move further out into the country and a zb quality of life for those who can’t afford to move.If a place made up of an urban jungle and infrastructure is your thing then London or zb China is the place to go but just like most Londoners I’d bet that you’d be one of the first ones looking to get out of the Urban Jungle that you’ve made for yourself when you’ve finished it. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:
