Hiya woodstock…theres a maintaince manual on E bay at the moment there’s also 4or5 names of companys who
specialse in brown boxes they might help you …go …E bay…catagory’s…david brown gearbox…and you should be
on it

…But this is for a 5 speed 557 'box.
John may have found another one, but you will need the manual for a 6A/600 gearbox or similar.
If you get stuck, I have one and can copy some parts for you.

I’m not sure what you have found here John, but I can’t find anything at all.
4 or 5 names of companies that specialise in DB gearboxes? - please tell us more!.
Finding anyone with DB parts thesedays is very unusual. Even the well known rebuilders from the days when these 'boxes were current have no spares left now.
I had a look on e-bay last night and could only find tractor manuals 
, however I have managed without the book and the gearbox is build up ready to be fitted in the morning.

Hiya …RED card for me (3300John) bleeding tractors i should have read the small print infact any print…i saw david brown manual and sortoff thought lorry box it did also mention 3 DB repairers…What a Muppet…sorry
