Perhaps someone can help me with this, I have just installed a dash cam in my car,I have been told I can get a reduction in my insurance , Does anyone know if this is right or not ■■? 
I think it depends if it a approved make and model by your insurance company. Some truck insurance companys are giving the Roadhawk users lower preimums

in the taxi trade i have just had my renewel and if i let them put a camera in my insurance will drop down from £2500 third party to £1800 fully comp but only with certain insurance companys but more and more are doing it

I had exactly the opposite, when I stopped telling the insurance companies I WAS A hgv DRIVER , MY PREMIUM WENT DOWN
